Self-priming paint provides long-term durability that is washable and scrubbable, and can be applied directly to previously painted surfaces or uncoated drywall. 2 coats are recommended when painting over uncoated drywall, or when using vibrant colors. Paint over sound, nonpeeling, previously painted nonglossy surfaces. For extreme household stains (ink, pencil, grease, etc.) and water damage stains, use appropriate stain-blocking primer.
