DuraVent 6DVL-AD-R DuraBlack Recessed Stove Collar Adapter, 6-Inch Diameter provides a premium product for use with the DVL chimney system. This adapter/damper section connects a DVL pipe to an appliance flue outlet. This component can also be used as a stove adapter with the damper being optional.

DVL offers a double-wall, air-insulated design to reduce clearances to combustibles from 18 inches to 6 inches--the closest clearance to a wall of any connector pipe. DVL improves stove performance by maintaining high flue gas temperatures for a strong, steady draft. The stainless steel inner walls of DVL pipe heat up faster and stay hot longer to minimize the formation of creosote and prolong the life of the chimney. NOTE: Venting components should be installed by a licensed installer in accordance with local codes and within the manufacturer's specified guidelines as noted in your appliance's installation manual.
