You asked for it, we got it! A rare sighting outside of Japan, we got our hands on real-deal hon mirin. Unlike ajimirin, and other mirins made with corn syrup, this mirin is brewed using the traditional method of using only rice, koji, and shochu with no additives or sweeteners.
This mirin was fermented over 90 days and further aged for three years, giving its deep flavor of honey, raisins, dashi, miso aka, lots of umami!
Use it in soups, sauces, or simply warm it up and enjoy as a sipper right before bed.
