The John Guest 5/16" Single Check Valve is a critical safety component for air and liquid lines. This push-fit valve allows fluid or gas to flow in only one direction, preventing backflow that could contaminate your system or damage your regulators. Featuring John Guest's world-famous push-to-connect technology, it provides a tool-free, 100% leak-proof connection for 5/16" (8mm) OD tubing. Made from food-grade acetal with a stainless steel spring.
Installation Note: Look for the flow arrow on the side of the fitting to ensure it is installed in the correct direction. This is ideal for mounting on the CO2 gas line just before the keg to prevent beer from backing up into the gas manifold if pressure is lost. Use a tube cutter for a square cut to ensure a perfect internal O-ring seal.
