Published in 1955 at the advent of home freezers, Frigidaire published New Thrills of Freezing, part owner's manual/part recipe book, to help homemakers learn how to use their new freezer. That's right, at the time, freezers weren't common so people had to learn how to freeze food including proper packaging and wrapping to preserve produce, meats, dairy, baked goods and whole meals! The back half of the book features freezer-friendly recipes.
