Pen Turning 101 - Downloadable Technique

Pen turning boils down to turning a cylinder. The body, consisting of one or more blanks, is bored and 􀏐itted with a brass cylinder, mounted to a lathe, and then turned, finished, and assembled. A particular pen kit may have more or fewer parts than those shown here. The instructions included with the kit will explain the exact assembly sequence.
